Travis R. Terry is a partner of Markus Williams & Young LLC and advises banks and other lending institutions in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of commercial financing transactions. Travis has extensive experience representing lenders in a wide variety of complex secured and unsecured transactions, including acquisition finance loans, leveraged buy-outs, asset-based loans, agribusiness loans, working capital lines of credit, refinancings and participations

Representative Transactions

  • Represented national and regional lenders in asset-based and structured finance transactions ranging in size from $6 million to $80 million (see below for detailed description of several of these transactions).
  • Represented a national receivables purchaser in purchase transactions ranging in size from $25 million to $200 million in various industries (see below for detailed description on several of these transactions).
  • Represented national banks as both agents and participants in syndicated facilities in transactions ranging from $50 million to $327.5 million in various industries, including a leading engineering company, skin care and cosmetics manufacturer, acquirer and manager of distressed consumer credit, an aerospace manufacturer, and a heavy equipment manufacturer.
  • Represented a national bank in secured and unsecured transactions and senior and mezzanine facilities of up to $125 million in various industries, including an international e-business integrator, a telecommunications company and a software engineering firm (see below for detailed description of several of these transactions).
  • Represented a national bank in a $300 million unsecured credit facility to a technical ceramic manufacturer with various foreign and domestic subsidiaries.
  • Represented a national receivables purchaser in a $200 million receivables purchase facility to a provider of relocation services.
  • Represented a national receivables purchaser in a $175 million receivables purchase facility to a producer of construction aggregates.
  • Represented a national bank in a $75 million credit facility to a seller and servicer of construction, forestry and agricultural equipment.
  • Represented a national bank in a $50 million cross border credit facility to an audio products designer and manufacturer.
  • Represented a national structured finance lender as agent in a $37 million credit facility to a skin care and cosmetics company.
  • Represented a national structured finance lender in a $33.5 million credit facility to a retailer of wireless voice, messaging and data services and hardware.
  • Represented a national structured finance lender in a $31 million credit facility to a distributor of sand and other oil and gas related products.
  • Represented a national structured finance lender in a $31 million credit facility to a designer of testing tools for the optics, illumination and display industries.
  • Represented a national structured lender in a $27 million credit facility to a designer and manufacturer of plasma cutting systems.
  • Represented a national structured finance lender in a $24 million credit facility to a US government contract service provider.
